Today, I’m going to talk to you about the strong shift that’s occurring in the UK property market at the moment. With recent changes with regards to tax deductibility and mortgage interest, stamp duty changes and also mortgage service ability changes, there is a very strong shift in the market at the moment away from high value, low yield properties, which is predominantly London and the southeast, toward lower value and higher yielding properties and this is benefiting areas like the midlands the northwest especially, areas like Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, strong cities with strong economies and strong fundamentals with quite a lot of depth, but offering quite a lot more to the current landlord based from the current legislation.
